Portia Britt
Portia J. Britt is senior at Washington University in St. Louis majoring in Political Science and African & African-American Studies with a minor in Children’s Studies. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and has limited previous experience in news production. When she is not at her internship, she is preparing to take the LSAT on October 19, 2010 very very early in the morning. Her interests include reading, shopping, and watching TV. Her favorite movie is High School Musical and she really hopes that Zac Efron stumbles across this website. Portia couldn’t have asked for a better or more cooperative group and she thinks all of Group 7 is stellar.

Nick Barnets
Nick Barnets is from Queens, NY, born to Greek/Irish parents, and is a broadcast news/political science student at Lyndon State College. He enjoys traveling, spending time with friends, and meeting new people all the time. After college, he plans to go into political and international journalism.
Mike Diaz
Mike Diaz is a Senior majoring in Electronic Media and Religious Studies at the University of Miami. He interns in the Sunday Morning department of CBS, spending most of his days researching and watching archive footage. At the University of Miami, he’s deeply involved with WVUM, the school’s radio station.
Eric Freeman
Eric, a native New Yorker, is a to be junior at the University of Pittsburgh. As a communications major, Eric is a color commentator and radio personality with 92.1 WPTS Pittsburgh for all sports.
Patrick Henderson
Patrick Henderson is a producer from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He attends Ohio University and will graduate in March of 2011. He has a love for all aspects of production -- everything from writing, planning, character search, shooting video and editing. He has worked for PBS reporting local news in Southeastern Ohio, interned at KDKA TV in Pittsburgh, done multimedia work for the Ohio University Alumni Association\ and interned at CBS News with the Channel One news network during the summer of 2010. He says the feeling he gets after creating something from nothing, and then watching the final product air on TV, is what reassures him he is in the right profession.
Katie LeBlanc
Katie LeBlanc is a senior at the University of Florida and will be graduating in May 2011. She is majoring in English and Telecommunications specializing in production. She is currently the president of UF's improv comedy troupe Theatre Strike Force, and hopes to synthesize her passions for comedy and television in her future.
Jason Lewis
Jason grew up in Livingston, New Jersey and is currently a senior at Arizona State University in the Walter Cronkite School for Journalism and Mass Communication. He is majoring in Broadcast Journalism and minoring in Film and Media Production. In Arizona, Jason is an intern for 3TV and reports and produces for their high school sports show, The Varsity Zone. During his free time, he plays lacrosse for a men’s club team and coaches for the Mesquite Wildcat lacrosse club in Gilbert, Arizona.
Matthew Sewick
Matthew Sewick is a broadcast journalist from Denver. His passions are photography, reporting, editing, and html. As a Colorado native, he also stays active with running, skiing, hiking, and anything outdoors. He hopes to one day conquer all 53 14ers (mountains over 14,000 feet) in the Rocky Mountain state!
